CellStor® Transfer Freezing Bag set is designed for processing and freezing the hematopoietic stem cells from cord blood in liquid nitrogen or low temperature storage. Each sterile set includes two transfer bags and one freezing bag along with integral tubing’s with port configuration.

Low Temperature Durability

The freezing bags are made from special Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) film, which combines tough, low temperature durability with excellent clarity, flexibility, impact and puncture resistance.

Negligible RBC’s Contamination

Film has good vapour and gas barrier properties, helping to reduce sample contamination.

Long Term Storage

The freezing bag is designed to tolerate long term storage of cells, tissue, organs and other biological specimens at low temperature.

Cryopreservation and Low Temperature Storage

The film material is biologically inert which will keep the stored biological specimens in an unaltered environment.

All the materials and components meet with the requirements of FDA regulation 21 CFR, USP Class VI, ISO 10993 and EC directives.

  • Each bag has an identification number for better traceability.
  • Port Configuration and tubing length can be customized as per the requirement.
  • Injection sites are provided for multiple sample aspirations (or)
  • Needle free connection can be provided to avoid injection process and reduce needle injury and risk of contamination and leakage. This ensures a closed system even after syringe disconnection.
  • Various clamps (Roller Clamps, pinch clamps, slide clamp, scissor clamp) will be provided for better flow control based on the customer requirement.
  • Two spike ports are provided to aspirate the product from the freezing bag (Both in Pilot & main freezing bag).
  • Extra-long EVA donor tubing in freezing bag enables sampling for quality control testing prior to transplantation.

  • Two transfer bags with 250 ml bag contains primary stem cell with plasma while the 150ml bag receives the supernatant plasma from the concentrated stem cells.
  • Improved design of 250 ml transfer bag ensures a homogenous mixing of the cryo-protectant with the final stem cell product before transfer to freezing bag.
  • This homogenous mixing of cryoprotectant with stem cell product in 250 ml bag prevent cell viability loss during low temperature storage.
